Certified for Apple //e — unenhanced and enhanced, NTSC and PAL. Support for Apple II/II+ (including EuroPlus) and Apple IIgs is still in testing and is not guaranteed for this iteration of the card. Crisp, fully cycle-accurate HDMI video with SHR, 33 MHz acceleration, 8 MB RAM, virtual Phasor (dual Mockingboard), USB-C mouse, SmartPort, 32 MB RAM disk, Disk II with WOZ support, Ethernet, SuperSprite, a color ImageWriter II that prints to PNG, and your choice of an 80 MHz Z80 Applicard or an 8088 that boots MS-DOS.

What it is

Every card you ever wanted, in one slot.

The current Appletini ONE is a single card certified for Apple //e systems. On board, an FPGA and two 766 MHz ARM cores watch the bus, cycle by cycle, and stand in for a whole shelf of hardware at once: a display, an accelerator, megabytes of RAM, sound cards, disk controllers, a network card and more. The card then paints the result to a modern screen over HDMI. Your machine stays exactly what it is; it just gains forty years of upgrades in the slot next door.

Video

Cycle-accurate HDMI

A per-cycle NTSC/PAL renderer reproduces the real display, dot for dot, and sends it out over mini-HDMI. No capture card, no scaler guesswork.

Super Hi-Res, SHR4 extended modes and SuperSprite (TMS9918) on top, with CRT effects (scanlines, phosphor glow, ghosting) to taste.

Speed

Acceleration to 33 MHz

A virtual TransWarp-class accelerator runs your code far faster while staying faithful to timing-sensitive software through a 1 MHz lock. Disk access speeds up right along with it.

8 MB RAM and a coprocessor of your choice come with it: an 80 MHz Z80 Applicard for CP/M, or a 640 KB 8088 that boots MS-DOS.

Sound

Virtual Phasor

A full dual-Mockingboard Phasor in the slot: 12 channels of music and effects, and 2 speech chips out the card’s own stereo analog audio jack (or optical, if fitted).

Bring your own real Mockingboard too; it plays perfectly alongside.

Storage

SmartPort & Disk II

Boot from SD through a SmartPort hard disk, or mount floppy images with true WOZ fidelity for the copy-protected classics.

Plus a 32 MB RAM disk for near-instant scratch space, and the SD card mounts on your PC or Mac over USB-C.

Input

USB, on an Apple //e

Plug a modern USB-C mouse straight in. It presents as a genuine mouse card. Add a keyboard and more through a standard USB hub.

No adapters, no AppleMouse hardware to hunt down.

Network

Ethernet & the web

A virtual Uthernet II puts your Apple //e on the network. The bundled disk browses the web and streams images to the screen.

Real TCP/IP over the card’s own RJ45, and the SD card shares over FTP to your local network.

Print

ImageWriter II, to PNG

A virtual Super Serial Card with a color ImageWriter II behind it: print from any software and each page lands on the SD card as a PNG, full four-color ribbon and all.
